Canadian income tax calculator
Federal and provincial income tax, CPP or QPP, EI and take-home pay on a salary, from the same tax engine that builds a Retirafy plan. An estimate for employment income alone: no other income, no deductions beyond the ones every employee gets.

How it is computed
Each figure is the engine’s own answer for one person of forty with employment income and nothing else, on the selected year’s published tables: the federal and provincial brackets, the basic personal amounts, the Canada employment amount, the credits for CPP and EI contributions, and the provincial premiums collected through the return. Federal and provincial tax are shown net of their own credits. Between the pre-computed points the calculator interpolates, and it carries every income at which a rate changes, so the estimate is exact to the dollar.
Not covered: Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut; other income, RRSP contributions, dependants, and every credit that depends on your circumstances. It is an estimate, not tax advice; see the Terms of Service.
Computed with Retirafy’s engine on the 2025 federal and provincial tables, in today’s dollars. How the projection works.
